NavarraBG2: We landed in Naukas
On Saturday morning, we got up early in order to attend Naukas PAMPLONA, an event where the objective is scientific dissemination with humoristic touches.
In addition to learning a lot and laughing, we had the opportunity to speak privately with Carlos Briones, a recognized scientist, specialised in biochemistry and molecular biology. He advised us and mentioned some obstacles that we will have to take into account when we realize our project, such as the atmosphere and soil of Mars.
During the whole journey in Baluarte, the members of the team NavarraBG of last year, who have become our mentors, joined us and explained us their project, which we will have to continue and improve this summer.
Among many of the talks, Carlos Briones himself spoke about extremophiles, which can be very helpful for us since they are organisms that live in extreme conditions such as those of Mars.
